Disclaimer, Servo controllers and motors are relatively new to me.
I have a RSI box connected to a Kollmorgen AKD. I am able to connect to it and see it and it’s axis. The network state is Operational. I can command it to move to a position. However, the command and error increase by the same amount. I can see in the guide I was following( listed below) that the enable button is changed to a disable button. Mine is not, I am trying to under stand what this button does as when I press it I get a AMP fault in the motor bits, and a log stating Timed out waiting for AMP_ACTIVE bit in amp enable setup. This makes me wonder if it is sending the wrong command or if my setup is not correct or both.
It seems you are experiencing difficulty enabling your axis/motor.
To enable or amplify the motor, the controller must transition through a defined sequence of states while applying the appropriate control word commands. It appears that your controller may be struggling to navigate these states.
In my experience with AKD drives, this issue can occur when the hardware enable input on the drive is not set to ON. Could you verify if yours is set to ON?
