Ethernet over EtherCAT (EoE) on Linux

Does EoE work with Linux-based EtherCAT master devices?

I tried to follow EoE - Ethernet over EtherCAT, I set my host ip address to 192.168.219.254/24 and activated the etherCAT network but I cannot ping my Kollmorgen AKD2G drives.

I’d like to tunnel the ethernet traffic through the master device so I can reach the drives using Kollmorgen Workbench. See example image below:

Hi @edco,

We currently only support EoE on Windows.
I’ll discuss with the team and get back to you on when we might expand support to Linux.

In the meantime, keep in mind you can use axis.NetworkNode.AKDASCIICommand(…), using the same command available in the AKD Workbench terminal.
