CustomNodeInfo.xml Settings

I’m trying to keep my NodeInfo data separate from the production NodeInfo.xml that you guys ship.

To what extent can I add/modify things under /EtherCATNodeInfo/Settings in CustomNodeInfo.xml?
In particular, I want to:

  • add/remove Ignore elements
  • add/remove AnalogInput or AnalogOutput elements

Hi @todd_mm,

This is an area we need to improve on. CustomNodeInfo.xml > Settings currently only works with the

StrictNodeOrder tag

It should also work with the rest. I’ve created a story to make it fully featured for everything that exists in NodeInfo.xml. I’ll update this when complete.
