Is it possible to have NodeInfo.xml/CustomNodeInfo.xml include some other file?
I’m hunting for a (perhaps, temporary) solution to the problem of distinct devices that are only distinguishable by revision number.
Is it possible to have either of these XML sources point to another file that I could (outside RMP) change between attempts to probe/generate/start the network?

There isn’t any support for this. Would it be possible to update any given machine to a specific firmware/revision version such that all nodes would behave the same? Or are there hardware differences too such that revisions couldn’t be mixed?
We have customers using the “old” device that we’d like to update, but replacing NodeInfo with the new device will break them.
I have to come up with a scheme for updating software that won’t hose clients. Detecting which devices exist on the network is tricky, because our software relies NodeInfo already being good.
