Is this device supported?

I’ve tried two different cards of this type, and I’m unable to get the network to start.

(X) 00:00:45.870 EtherCAT EcSlave.cpp:3883 ‘Term 15 (Beckhoff Encoder)’ (1016): Timeout: ‘’.
(X) 00:00:45.871 EtherCAT EcSlave.cpp:3887 Slave Term 15 (Beckhoff Encoder) did not start correctly
(X) 00:00:46.334 EtherCAT EtherCAT.cpp:940 Error signaled by master while starting driver

I’m using a vanilla 10.6.3, and I had to browse for the ESI file. However, I would expect the network to start.

What might I be doing wrong?

Hi @todd_mm,

I don’t see anything wrong with the device. At a guess, I would bet it is the 0x10F3 Sub 5 init cmd which is timing out. Are you available today to do a remote session to test that and investigate further if needed?

Following up. It was the 10F3 InitCmd. We resolved the issue by commenting it out of the ESI file and regenerating a new ENI file.
